North Point Quarry is a scuba-only site next to TJ Evens Park in Newark, Ohio, with a $10 diver fee, dock and shoreline entries, covered changing and picnic areas, visibility 2–15 ft, paddlefish, catfish, bluegill, freshwater clams, sunken boats and other submerged attractions.
Stonelick Lake (Ohio State Park) reaches 21–25 ft in the channel, has poor visibility of about 5–10 ft, and a clay/muck bottom—obtain park manager permission before diving.

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park provides a 10-acre scuba refuge open April–October (and designated times) from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; divers must show open water (or higher) certification or be with an approved instructor, dive with a buddy, and display personal diver-down flags.
